Welcome to MYWETU.com
My WETU is my modern design twist on an
ancient style dome structure. The Indians of the upper northeastern United
States used a dome structure called a Wetu. Many also consider these dome structures to also be a type of wigwam. My WETU is my unique design take, on a multipurpose dome frame structure to fit varying needs of modern day people.
The 34a model shown below, is 20 foot in diameter and nearly 10 foot high in the center! Coverings include, but not limited to, plastics, canvas, other fabrics like Dacron, Kevlar, canopies, nylon, fencing, even rubberized products.
Framing Materials: In the photo below, we are using .18 Ga. Galvanized steel pipe, be this can also be PVC, wood poles or nearly any other materials, of nearly any size/shape, round, square, tringle,
ridged, ect, in combination with other assembly items and webbing such as rope,

Here's the design being used as an outdoor awning. This covering allows partial light while still proving shade. It has a 360 view. You can also screen the lower open portion in if you wanted to, to keep bugs out. This covering can be had for UNDER 100 shipped!! How much are the cheapest replacement coverings for other manufacturers 20' x 20' structures?? Just think of the uses for this! Use it as a booth at flea markets! Shade for your tag sale or event. You could get the whole band under this!!!
Sooo easy to set up too, all the framing parts are the same! Watch how easy it is to assemble.
All you need is a place to put it. 4 people can move it after its fully assembled!!!!!
This is the model 34a framing in its initial design form. The more poles you add, the stronger it becomes!!
Heres an easy set up, portable version.
